Dear lovelies!
First of all, we’d like to apologize for the lack of updates, both visually & in text! But we have been making an effort recently to keep on top of things a bit better; for example we posted a few new videos (http://www.youtube.com/user/mondaynightbearclaw) and have been working on modernizing our facebook page so that it is much more interactive & will contain everything you need to know or see to keep up with us, including music!! Give it a look and let us know what you think :)

We have also decided that we will be featuring a new topic in this blog, that we’re going to call “MNBC is wearing…” and it will regularly feature at least one member of Monday Night Bear Claw OR any number of our fans that we feel are stepping up in the wardrobe department. We are all big fans of clothing & pushing the envelope, so we thought it would be a nice idea to incorporate that part of ourselves and our image into this blog. You all of course should feel free to scold us or love us accordingly :)
Also! If any of you have happened to have found any press on us that you can forward, or if you have any quotes you’d like to contribute to our band page, definitely let us know!!
And thank you again for everyone who has been buying the EP, coming out to shows, and helping us promote. We have a lot of big things in the works, and everything you do to help us is more than appreciated & will not be forgotten! Keep in touch and feel free to send us a question or comment on any ways in which we might be able to improve. SO much love to you & yours!

MNBC
I just want to say that last night was one of the best shows MNBC has played in a while. We took a few minutes off there, and our “welcome back” was more than warm. Last night was one of those perfect shows - where you don’t have to worry about promoters breathing down your neck for ticket sales, your set time being cut short, or any of the other silly issues that make playing shows any less than they should be - fun.
No. Instead, we got to play with and for our friends, meet some great new bands that we hope to keep in touch with and hopefully play with again, and open up for a band that influenced us strongly when we were first working MNBC out.
I loved last night because it had that “tour” feel for me, even though I wasn’t the one on tour. When you’re on the road, there’s an unmatchable excitement level that I can’t quite explain… everything about last night - from the tight layout of the venue to the “cheering section” that we formed in the hallway… these are unforgettable experiences; little memories that you make while you’re away from home, and even though we were the locals last night, I was really happy to be part of it all again. It definitely made me really made me miss being part of that action. Just listening to Teddy Grahams lament about being chased out of a Walmart parking lot brought me back to the good old days of showering in the rain, BBQing in parking lots, and making friends with strangers in hopes that your music will somehow entertain and touch them.
We’ve got some exciting things coming up. Our EP is FINALLY getting released on April 27th. Guys, wait until you hear it. Of all of the projects I’ve done before, this is the one I am most proud of, and I’m sure the rest of the band can say the same. I hope you love it. I hope it makes you dance. And most of all, I hope it makes you stick around to see what we write next.
